    • What place does the Eucharist have in the life of marriage and family?  What does the heritage of the old covenant join with the good news of the new covenant that is revealed in the marital covenant?  The Eucharist nurtures and aids the marriage and the family.
  • Reconciliation

    • The sacrament, which brings forgiveness, is a vital source of healing and reconciliation for the marriage and family.  It is an aid to soothe the wounds of the past and provide the strength to resist evil and difficulties within oneself and that one encounters while living a Christian life.

Part 2: Prayer

     A Living Sacrament provides a synopsis of the different forms of prayer that are presented in the Catholic Catechism of the Catholic Church and then elucidates various practical means and suggestions for developing a life of prayer within the family.

Part 3: Families, Become What You Are

     Living Sacrament presents a practical synopsis of the four tasks of the family.  An overview of the role of parents as primary educators of their children identifies the scope of family life education.

    Included is an aid for the engaged couple to prepare their wedding liturgy to express the dignity and sacredness of their marital vow and covenant.
