The Family Life Institute is an educational agency responding to the challenge of the Pontifical Council on the Family: educate children in faith and morals in ways that acknowledge the dignity, responsibility and competency of parents.

We provide media that brings the vision of the Church into daily life.

Our efforts are directed to families in the form of a home-based educational system, books, workshops & internet communication.

We provide supplementary education for those responsible for the pastoral care of the family.

The Painting

The Meeting of Jacob and Rachel by William Dyce.  Permission granted by Leicester City Museums Service, New Walk Museum, 53 New Walk, East Midlands, Leicester LE1 7EA.  The theme of "a sincere gift of self" is a profound economy of the meaning of married life and this painting expresses that theme perfectly.  For this reason is was chosen for the cover of the Christian Married Life series.
